I find that a pretty broad statement to make given how many knives Buck must be making ever year. The average Buck owner probably doesn't post on Bladeforums and as with any product you will hear from someone with a problem, real or imagined but not the other 100 or 1000 that didn't have an issue. Also you find threads all the time where a complaint is made but no photos are provided to support the claim or the OP makes his first post and never comes back. Just wondering where you are getting you info as you say it "seems like a lot" but is it?
Well said, I have never had a problem with a Buck knife new or old and I have abused a few. Like all tools, knives are intended for a certain function. Form = Function
