Buck 124 Frontiersman??

I absolutely love Buck knives. I have at least 6 of them. My biggest one is the 119, but I want a bigger one. I have been trying to find the Frontiersman, but cannot find it anywhere online. I asked Buck and they said they don’t know if or when they will be back in stock. Is there anywhere I can find one??

whiskey, don't forget about the 120 the ol general. also the gck, they are bigger knives.

also.....I'm guessing here but since Bucks got them in stock on their website the dealers will likely be getting some of them, but im just guessing.

The 124 is in a class by itself. Well worth the extra money. I hope you get one.

Yes I ordered one! I recently just got a Puma Bowie, because I wanted a higher end big knife, but was disappointed at how small it actually is. Nothing beats the beefiness of a Buck.

I hope you looked at the measurements. It’s a big knife but not even 7” long. But that’s why it carry’s so easily.

It’s a great knife but really not large other than its width.

it’s also a slicey knife not a heavy chopper.

My opinion: The fuller makes no sense for me. It looks good at the 119 but not at the 124 I think.

Do current 124's have micarta handles? That sure would be sweet. The two in the pictures above look like they do? Off I go to Buck's website to check.

Part of me thinks it should have a more Bowie like clip, (and a fuller) but I also appreciate it for what it is. It is a unique Buck design, not just another Bowie.

I love carrying mine, the older ones had a more rounded handle, the new one has a larger blocky handle. But I can’t choose between the two.

The 124 is the King of the Buck lineup IMHO.

The older 124's had blocky handles too. The 122 Nemo did not. Still, a handsome strong knife.DM
