Buck 124 Frontiersman??

Is this your knife, or a picture of one? I really like that deer head cut out in the blade.

That was a one of a kind Buck did for charity auction years ago. Think it sold for $1500-$1800.

My green Micarta 124. I sanded most of the guard off so it was easier to get my thumb on top of the blade. Plus ground a clip point as well.View attachment 1428491 View attachment 1428492 View attachment 1428493 View attachment 1428494

Will you post the method you used? Specifically the grades of sand paper or belts used and how you maintained the radius. I would like to do this to my 124. Thank you.

I used a bench grinder with lots of water to keep the temp down. Used a marker to figure out the clip design. Took some time but I have a soft spot for clip points.
