Buck 143 Paklite Skinner (made in USA)

I made a simple kydex sheath for mine and it rides piggy back on my becker bk2. Great little knife holds a edge well and works great for small tasks such as skinning carving and food prep! Great partner for a bigger camp knife.

That is my goal also to add a Buck 143 and BK11 to a bigger camp knife and they add 4oz total only for three blades.

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago. One thing that I had to do was run a little bit of electrical tape on the handle strap. The way its set up, every time you draw the knife, the blade goes right across the strap. After a few times using it, I noticed the fraying.

More Expensive Than Gold sells for under 16 + 10.20 S&H. 0___0

Some are selling a Paklite without using "Buck." WOnder what that might be. 0___0

You can never have enough steel and the packlite is a great one this is going in the kangaroo pouch on my Ron hood punk now:)

Great bargain, even at $20 now at WallyWorld. The two I bought for my sons' BOBs last year were less, if I remember correctly. I recently bought a third - finally - for my BOB. Here it is Paracord wrapped:

Here it is wrapped and sheathed:

It fits the new Buck Hood 'Punk' knife sheath's front pocket? How about the Hoodlum's? I guess I could test that...

In any case, it's a bargain!

Wow, I really like the parachord idea! Looks like it gives good grip, and you also have that little bit of rope should an emergency arise out in the woods.
Here is the one I did with G-10 sides. Ironically, the blade polish idea was an afterthought and in the process of polishing the exposed tang portion, I polished off most of the grippyness of the g-10!

The links I gave in my last post pretty much opened my entire photobucket album so I'll give this another try...

It needs a grip, I started gutting a buck last year and found it too thin. I have checked out the cord wrap, now I just gotta go get some paracord to wrap it and a couple others.
