How many of you guys are planning to buy this knife at such a high price point..?

I collect 112‘s but price seems outragious based on the price sheet. And yes I know the Larry Oden buy program, still it seems high.

I'm not, but reserve the right to change my mind. the 112 just isn't my favorite. prefer the 110 size for use and belt carry if im gonna hang a knife on my belt.

now if there was a metal framed 112 slimmed down like the discontinued 500 I'd be all over it for a pocket carry knife. the thickness of the 112 is great for using, but I dislike for pocket carrying.

remember when gone theyre gone and prices typically go crazy. look at that December botm 112. supply and demand in action....but there is other stuff I want over it and dont have unlimited funds.....

I might snag one when I find out what my income tax return is but they will probably be sold out by then.

Where did you find the price?

I can't find it at the BCCI site.

You can get Larry Oden’s email address on the bcci members list and send him an email to ask him to send you a electronic copy of the catalog and price list.

Looks like all legacy models are beyond my price range. They are nice tho.
The 112 legacy is hand made with the classic square frame with the 440c blade like they were back in the day. I can imagine the extra man hours to manufacture and hand fit them is why they are so high priced.

You're trying to avoid another 106, right? I think you'd better buy it. ;)
Ha, I love the comeback…., and yea,,, your right….
I get cold feet and then regret it…

BUT…..I did locate a 106 compadre….however I had to buy the whole set from a collector, the froe, knife and axe. He would not split it up.

I can't wait to see the price.

It's always a tough decision on what pricey new 112 to get..Some that have a limited run AND seem reasonably priced for the materials used sell out quickly and are never offered for less than MSRP..Get that knife quickly..
