I got my Buck560 in last night. While I really prefer the look of wood and bone handles, I have to say that the 560 is quite a bit more comfortable than the 110. Between the textured and drilled out titanium and the finger grooves, the 560 has an amazing grip!!! Its also a lot lighter than a standard Buck110. I even dig the sheath. This knife is a real sleeper. Im surprised people didnt go crazy over it.
Theres only one problem. The 560 is a real bear to open. I can hear and see the blade scraping against the titanium handle every time I open it. It makes this nasty sandpaper kind of noise. Is this just the price I have to pay for using a textured handle, or is something not quite right with it?
While Im on a roll .. Is it possible to send the knife in for some custom work? Id die to get it opening smoother, and have a BG-42 blade put on it like my PCKS 110. With all that and a one armed bandit, Id have a BuckBenza!!!!
