Buck Collectors Club (BCCI) Lifetime Membership Discount Prices

However.......back to the veteran's discount.......

I imagine a lot of us here are vets and if you're not using that perk.......you're missing out on some good deals.

I think that one's good for FIVE per year at wholesale.

Wow....Sign me up:D I will email Buck ASAP.

Hi Guys this is a good topic. Now I have a question, when I go to the pro site & log in I see the red price just like Dave has posted. But, here is my question....I took a look at the 113 and the red price on the page is $33.60, I click on the photo to read the info and the red price is higher $50.40. So the question is what price do you get charged? I have never bought one from this list and if the price on the page is correct maybe it's time!

jb, it has been my experience that when you navigate off of the page that automatically comes up with the prosite, it goes to different discount. Not all knives recieve prosite discount. It appears that the prices are more in line with the promos that get offered-40% off sales. I have never tried to order one after I have used both prosite purchases.

Word to the wise, if you navigate away, log off and log back in before making the order and purchase to verify you are getting the correct price. BTW, in previous years, it automatically changed, even if you hit the back arrow to go directly back to the original menu page you had just left. This year I have moved to a few pages, web special and so forth and came back and prosite prices were still correct. Who knows. THey build a better knife than the do a website;):p

Ok, Here you go. I went to the site and logged in and went to the first screen of knives that it takes you to. I then clicked on "Hunting" off to the side and went to the 113. The first picture below is what I see, but when I click on the "view details" or the picture, the second screen with the right price comes up.

Hi Dave,

When I do just what you are doing the price in the second photo is $50.40. That match's what Fritz said above, as $50.40 is 60% of $84.....LOL. The current company I work for sells most of our goods via web sales; if our IT guys were like Buck's the would be fired on the spot due to lost sales. I have had access to this site for a few years and never bought a knife from it due to all the issues folks have been talking about. Maybe that is their idea make it hard and you will buy the knife from some where else....that's my bad as I'm not getting the discount Buck has offered to me:(

Is that any vet or BCCI members that are vets?

Just wanted to clear it up for those who are vets.

It's for all military vets as I understand it. Give them a call for the details.

Cut from the Buck Prosite terms & conditions and pasted here for your amustment:

"WHO QUALIFIES

snip

"Military Personnel"

My words: Qualification is not automatic. Application must be made.

You can find the Prosite terms and condition buy going the the Buck website, click on Prosite (found on the very bottom of the page) and, finally, click on "terms and conditions."

If you're trying to figure out the discount program for vets........just call them on the phone and get the info.......that way you won't have to interpret it.

(Have your credit card ready.)

:)

sounds like the best plan go straight to the source----BUCK themselves.

Just a guess but my gut feeling is that it's limited to "active duty" military personnel, not all veterans. Same way with "Law Enforcement Personnel". Hope someone contacts Buck and gets the real info and posts it here.

Problem solved. I can now see discounted prices and I purchased a Hoodlum!

Stumps, post #5, from this thread did the trick: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ems-logging-into-Pro-Site-from-Buck-home-page.

I used a different email address to complete the Prosite application than I used for Webspecial purchases. I was a purchaser of Webspecials long before I became a BCCI member.

Thank you members, thank you BCCI and thank you BUCK.

Congrats! I just got my Hoodlum and like it a lot. In all honesty I'll probably never use it for anything let alone the type of environment it was designed for but I find it a unique and interesting design. Add to that the fact that Ron is no longer with us and it was just one I needed to get. Hope you like yours as much as I do mine.

Give me a minute... OK, okay. I'm a little winded from doing the happy dance. It only took me three years to figure out the Prosite registration and use features. I feel like I've finally been accepted into the inner circle and a part of the community instead of feeling like I was on the outside looking in.

The Hoodlum is a brilliant camp knife and I'm drawn to it like a duck to water. I'm gonna chop something with it for you Badhammer. It will fit in nicely in the remote and mountainous Southern Oregon Wilderness of the Siskyou Mountains. http://redwood.sierraclub.org/Campa...asaboveSiskiyouForkSmithRiverBrokenRib_Sa.jpg

Well, that took a while.

LOL!

Welcome to the inner circle of people who figured it all out. Some never get through that rite of passage.

:D

Regarding the (2) knife Pro Site discount:

Do BCCI Life members get to buy (2) knives per year at that discount, OR is it (2) knives total?

Thanks,
Peter

Thank you for your kind words BG.

It is funny and to me as well. I feel like I'm a kid again and it is Christmas and my Birthday all rolled into one.

As to this problem of the red numbers bouncing around to higher or lower prices.......yes, that does happen if you move to other areas of the website.

However, I can always get the correct price if I go to the top right and click on "My Account" and then click on "Knives."

Also, I bookmarked the "My Account" page and I always sign in through that log on in the upper right.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I've never had a problem with the website other than a few harmless eccentricities (which I overlook, as I have a few of those myself).
