Buck Collectors Club (BCCI) Lifetime Membership Discount Prices

As to this problem of the red numbers bouncing around to higher or lower prices.......yes, that does happen if you move to other areas of the website.

However, I can always get the correct price if I go to the top right and click on "My Account" and then click on "Knives."

Also, I bookmarked the "My Account" page and I always sign in through that log on in the upper right.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I've never had a problem with the website other than a few harmless eccentricities (which I overlook, as I have a few of those myself).

That's pretty much what I do. You ALWAYS have to get to where you're going from the "accounts" page or you will get the higher prices. Even for sheaths and sharpeners.

The back button doesn't work on the Buck site very well.

You can always tell if your on the right page also because there will only be one page that displays ALL the knives. If you have multiple pages, you need to go back through the "accounts" page to get back to the proper pro site page and prices.

I think the only remaining problem is that there seems to be a bit of confusion about the discount program for military veterans.

This is separate from and has nothing to do with the "Prosite" program. It's a straight 50 percent off list price.

It's just a nice gesture from Buck to those who have served in the military.

I just sent Joe an e-mail asking that he come here and explain the "veteran's discount". Hopefully he will come and clear up any and all confusion.

Good...................I sure hope he approves because I ordered a 916 and a 124 a little while ago at wholesale.

:)

Cool, what paperwork or proof that you are a Vet to get in on it and who do you contact? I'll sign my brother up, he's a Viet Nam vet.

Hi Guys this is a good topic. Now I have a question, when I go to the pro site & log in I see the red price just like Dave has posted. But, here is my question....I took a look at the 113 and the red price on the page is $33.60, I click on the photo to read the info and the red price is higher $50.40. So the question is what price do you get charged? I have never bought one from this list and if the price on the page is correct maybe it's time!

Try putting the item in your "cart" and see what the price is.

Oh yeah, mind sharing the phone number you called and who (if you remember) that you talked to?
I'm going to get two cousin's, my brother and my best friend to sign up for the Vet's discount if that's all there is to it!:thumbup:

I think I have an impressively honest voice.

:D

Actually, I don't think they've ever had a problem with fakers.

Seems to me that getting financial gain by misrepresenting yourself as a military veteran could actually be fraud, so smart people would probably shy away from it.

I just called the regular phone number and talked to a consumer sales rep......I think her name was Janet.

Buck is taking pre-orders on the new 2012 124 Frontiersman? It is not in their stock per my call today 1-800-326-2825-3-5. Expected June/July.

Larry O. told me that although he got 3 of them, he has over 80 on backorder. They are however, available on some web and auction sites right now.

Not in stock, but expected to be fairly soon. The 916 was in stock but I said I wanted good bark and that I am a patient man, so she said she might be able to send them together in the near future.

I understood it to mean, as an estimate, on this side of six weeks.

Dave,

Hard to find "in stock" on web. In fact I can find none with a real inventory except for e.
