Do you have any idea how old it is?

I found it in the 1972-1980 catalogs, and the one in the 1981 catalog is different. It must be 72-80

Your display has dovetail joints and the access door is a little different. I would say 72-79. I don't doubt it was in the 1980 catalog but those photos are made in advance. And these counter displays changed in the 80's. It likely lost the red velvetine cloth that was over those moldings,
which the knives fit in. I had one like that but the access door on mine was a little different. Those are hard to come by. I gave it to a Buck collector friend, who is no longer with us. I don't regret it one minute. DM
