That's a great looking older knife. The barrel nut plug is almost invisible on this one. I tried to take a photo of it, but failed.

I like the pokier tip of the Gen 5, but the 113 is also a fine design.I find the 113 more user friendly for hunting.
I think the Gen 5 is better looking.
niceI reckon this counts. I made this display for my new 124 out of a chunk of Osage Orange and some antler. It's such a great looking knife. As nice as it looks on the dresser though, my intention is to use it.

Would it be stranded on an island and you had to use your knife to survive? Wait…that was mine…..sort of like Jack Sparrow in the curse of the black pearl with the rum….except there would be bottles of wine, I would also have my SA with a cork screw for Wine. Or it would be a nightmare when my Chinese made Swiss army knock off with cork screw broke and I couldn’t open the bottles.I actually had a dream about my 117 Pro last night!

Not exciting at all! I was using my 117 Pro to cut down a small sapling that had sprung up in the field.Do tell us what your dream was with the 117.
I’d rather be using my 117 to cut up BBQ. I got one in 5160 and wood handle, it was a C&C exclusive. Not exciting at all! I was using my 117 Pro to cut down a small sapling that had sprung up in the field.![]()
