My newest knife. A one-liner from probably very late 1963 or early 1964. It has the non-tapered finger guard and strap sheath of the earliest non-barrel nut one-liners but the rounded pommel of the later one-liners and what appears to be the smaller diameter, later pin style.
I have a later style one liner 105 circa 1964-66 with rounded pommel, small pin, tapered finger guard and flap sheath. When I get a flat pommel one liner 105 (someday) I'll x-ray them all together to see if there's a discernible difference that might inform which are forged blades. Vern Taylor thought the small pin corresponded with the switch away from forged blades.
