Right this minute I'm sure a former Boy Scout has a early one line Buck hatchet quietly stored in a dusty box somewhere..When my Brother Charlie was involved with Scouting with his sons I told him the early ones could be extremely valuable and you would not know by just looking at it..

Appears to be, found on google. NOTE: It is a Russian site. Finally got it to translate and it is actually states black. My bad!

Interesting sheath. Is it original from Buck? I’m asking because the snaps are plain and I’ve never seen one before.
