I understand your desire, I just feel like Buck making a kephart would get lost in the noise and be something not distinctly Buck.Well I guess I'm one of a few. I have loved the classic design of the Kephart for years. I'm not a flashy kind of person and I like things that work like the Kephart does for me.
Yea, you're prolly right. I'm sure they've considered it before.I understand your desire, I just feel like Buck making a kephart would get lost in the noise and be something not distinctly Buck.
It'd be fun.Well I guess I'm one of a few. I have loved the classic design of the Kephart for years. I'm not a flashy kind of person and I like things that work like the Kephart does for me.
Buck currently offers a lot of beautiful knives and I'd be proud to own any of them.

I'd hate to see you alter a Buck 103. I had no idea what a 103 looked like and had to research it. Beautiful knife.
I agree about the making part......It'd be fun.
I always liked the idea of a drop point 103.
Someone here made a drop point 119 that was a very cool looking knife.
If you want it, I guess you gotta make it.
wouldn't mind that myself either....I'll get blasted for saying this, but I wouldn't say no to a Buck 110 Kephart. Just the blade. I have the standard clip point and a drop point. I think a flat grind spear point like a Kephart would be cool. A limited run maybe. No nail nick.
The 103 has a definite "Nessmuk" thing going with the blade shape. I may have spelled the name wrong. It'd be fun.

Here's my Buck/TC #15 Nessmuk,(it's not your previously owned one, mine's from an owner in Canada). A reissue would be nice.Buck did a Nessmuk collaboration with Thompon Center years ago. I had one, sold it to another member here IIRC. Think they only made 150 of them or so. Nice knife and I think they could make some $$ on a knife like that.

I mentioned the 110-112 drop points and forgot i had this picture.
Brother, I like the way you think!I think buck could do something like the Hess tiburon and make some people likeUncle Timbo happy.

would the bk62 be a good starting point for a first Kephart? I'd be all in for a Buck in 5160, just don't see them making one in the Tobiassen era
