buck knife buddy's 110?

if this knife is for the blade forum buck users only and price is an issue, IMHO I say stick with the traditional 110 CS with a wood "who cares what kind" with brass bolsters and S30V steel with engraveing and sheath. this would be a great, everybody knows BUCK knife with a buck buddies twist. IMHO all of the exotic scale material will out price a lot of potential buyers making it harder to get a minimum sold.

Dang it, I can get two really good old slipjoints for a C note. But, if it comes down to having 249 sold and you need one more, I will scrape up the money for a big ole honkin' knife I would only use to gut a elephant.......300

Way to give one for the team 300:thumbup:

tell 'em you'll take S30V lazerized with contoured Charcoal Dymondwood®, FG, NS, and a nice brown sheath. How about that????

The more I think about that knife, the more I think the Custom Shop should have Dymondwood as an option as well as Sandvic 13C26 as a 110 Blade.

So how about a 13C26 bladed 110, contoured Charcoal Dymondwood®, FG, NS, and a nice brown sheath??? That sound real interesting to me.

remember i am a bottom feeding catfish..
i quit smokeing cigreets to have buck money... not only that
i sleep in my van at the shows to have more buck money..
price is important
Pete said " simple and easy is cheaper then some thing new or hard to do"
why things are the way they are at buck i dont know
i only chase rummers and ask dum questions..
my moto is
if you dont ask the answer is no any way..
pete said today when i have commits for 150 to call on pricing..
but he did say that s30vn and wood with lasering
will most likely be under that C'note!!;)

Well Dave, what kind of wood are we talking about?
I assume you'll have the laminated "in inventory" laminated options from the CS and the AG rosewood and of course the faux macassar ebony Obeechee wood.

So all we are really talking about here that's different is some "as of yet to be determined" lazer etching.

You need to hit CJ and Joe up for something interesting.

One other thing, why do you have to wait for 150 commits to get a pricing? :thumbdn:

good questions there Flat'

it is kinda of a group friend ship knife
some to say i am a part of your circle and
there for touch you life as you do mine
some thing simple as in we all share the same thing
as we all share being friends
it is a desire for a simple knife commemorating our comradely ...
not a supper fancy dream knife... well ..that is what i thought any way

well i did not want to take up time with out some
hope of being able to make an order

pricing is not a quick thing as there is set up time also
that has to be spread out on each knife and
undetermined etching well art work on inlays or blades
(i dont care which) is also a set up charge
i like the idea of the gray diamond wood! ..
well forum is open
HAY i want any one reading to feel free to suggest things..
(Joe and CJ included)
to any chip in their thoughts and i welcome all thoughts greatly!!

edit to explain my self better this is not a 334 knife
for me a basic wally 110 with some thing of our blade forum friend ship and common like of buck knives would work..

Dave, wouldn't it be possible to get this thread as a sticky on top of the others?

Haebbie

i dont know...
any thing is possable
you know i had another idea
going to check on it and see..
if it is possable will post if not will edit this out..

what's the latest on this adventure? has anyone got anything worked out?what about making this thread a sticky?

well i called with the idea i had to ask Pete
(whom supported the idea..)
and wow ...
Pete is no longer with buck knives
and he was my point contact on that..

i did talk for a little bit with his boss Liz
(who is doing that job now)
and she knew nothing of it and had not found his notes as yet..
i out lined quickly what it was &
said she "..would ask ..."
and have NOT heard back from her..
so...
it is at ground ZERO again..
i may have no real dream of getting this done now..
i dont know
will call again next week ... maybe..
