A lot of times when the 119, along with a lot of knives, are featured in film, it is almost exclusively as a weapon. It is refreshing to see knives in movies used as they were intended, as a useful instrument to get a task done as opposed to being another shank. What is wrong with the 119's image?![]()
The same people do the same things with guns...

black leather gloves and a Buck 119 special but he's the good guy ?In the movie "Dangerous" , Scott Eastwood's character (the good guy for change, and not the bad guy) has a Buck 119!

They used a 119 special in the 1st movie and a 120 general in all the rest.Every 90's kid has this mental image of a 119 (whether they know it or not).

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for clarifying. I haven't seen these movies since I was a kid so my information wasn't current. Reckon I'll have to revisit. They used a 119 special in the 1st movie and a 120 general in all the rest.
1-3 were fine and definitely worth watching.I wasn't aware of that, thanks for clarifying. I haven't seen these movies since I was a kid so my information wasn't current. Reckon I'll have to revisit.
It’s the first movie that got me to wanting a Buck 119 or 120 when the movie came out. Everybody who was anybody where I went to school had to have seen it when it finally came on TV.They used a 119 special in the 1st movie and a 120 general in all the rest.
Watching Arctic Daughter: A Lifetime of Wilderness... not sure if this is an early vangaurd, or some other brand, but it looked close enough that I would post to see what you all thought... kind of a weird angle. View attachment 2154261
