HOLY CRAP!!! :eek:

Buck sent me an email!!! Buck has never sent me an email!!! It's got so much graphics in it that it took 10 minutes to load (just like their web site)...

"Father's Day 40% Off Sale. Free Ground Shipping On All Orders"

I can't believe I actually got an email from Buck...I get a "web sale" email from Sarah every five years or so, in a format that I can't open, but this is different...I can actually read it and see the pics!!!

"Offer expires June 30th"

And there's a promo code you have to enter on all orders under this offer...

Hmmmm...there's a pirate's knife made from Hoyt Buck's original floorboards... :)
 
I don't get Buck emails! I should though. I'm a collector club member.
 
I got one also and I don't belong to the BCCI (yet). I signed up on the website last week. I also signed up a year or so ago and this is a first.
 
I got the email today too.
And yes, it was a surprise. I signed up for Buck news and updates a while back and this is the first thing I've gotten.
Phil is shaken things up apparently.

I figured I would finally pick up a Kaala for my Dad.
I CAN'T GET THROUGH THE CHECK-OUT!!!!!
The website is SLOW SLOW SLOW and it fails loading all the time.

*ok, feel better now*

Back to trying to get through the check out.
 
Shaman, I have had the slowness and no check out issue myself in the last week or so. Kept trying and finally got through the next day.

In real life I manage a web application as one of my side jobs, so I'm oversensitive to slowness. I'll be ok... :thumbup:

I also signed up for it several years and they were going to send me emails each time a nickel silver 112 was available and other than recent order confirmations it is my first email from them
 
I signed up for the emails many moons ago and got the special, besides being a lapsed BCCI member (fallen angel).
 
It is very slow for me also and I cannot checkout.

I've tried it on 2 different PC's with 2 different browsers, and when I try to checkout, it empties out my cart before it goes to the checkout.

I may just phone in my order tomorrow.
