Unless I am testing my knives for blade play in an incorrect manner, (not sure that's even possible) my used Buck 110 doesn't have any side to side or even vertical that I notice. Granted, it is not heavily used, but since blade play out of the box appears to be an issue I thought I'd contribute.

Buck even admitted it was having some issues, I'd say they corrected it and the older ones never had any issues.
