Buck Lite 424?

That's funny I just picked one of these up at Canadian Tire. Really good buy for 10 bucks.
Bos heat treated is great and this knife weighs NOTHING.
 
I just received two 2nd gen bucklite 424s: Flawless on all fronts. Sharp, pointy, lock securely, point is safe when closed, 1.27 oz (36.1 grams), really really good knife. Buy them all before the sale ends. No kidding.

Oregon, Cool bucklites... I never did get one... Is that all you could get, was two??? I want one with that year mark... anyway good pics and they look great... ITE ... :thumbup:

If all works out as I hope it does, border crossing takes time and luck, I have more (in blister pack) enroute and arrival is pending. The two pictured were sent without their original packaging in order to save shipping by a capable and terrific, North of the border, friend.

Just an FYI, these are on sale again this week here in Canada at Canadian Tire.

The packaging is slightly different (no Made in USA under the US flag on the front, only on the back) and the blade has the 2011 stamp on it.

Other than that, it appears to be the same as the ones from 2010.

Thanks for the welcome ITE.

I took some pics but the ones of the blade didn't turn out very good.

Will try again tomorrow using my smartphone and see if it can do a better job than my old digicam.
 
Guess what, they are on sale at Cdn Tire again. Same price as before. Picked up 5 of them to hand out at the hunt camp.

Yes, their on sale again just in time for Christmas. A bin full just as you enter the doors. I picked up 7 for stocking stuffers, and of course one for an edc. It's a great blade and pockets very well.

Does Canadian Tire, or any other Canadian retailer, sell the blaze ORANGE version of the Buck 424? Like this one:

I saw the 424 blaze orange blems for sale on the auction site. They were sourced at the Buck factory sale per the vendor.

I was told that a locally owned hunting supply store (not Canadian Tire), in Canada, has the orange 424 for sale now.

You can purchase them from Buck directly over the phone.
