Buck Lite 424?

Lucky, lucky and lucky Canadian guy timberweasel.

I carry one or two (one black and one orange) daily. Heck, I've even carried three, speeds the pocket search for a cutting edge. The NO-NAIL NICK, he screams, feature is a great selling point IMHO. You never have to clean the nail nick and I don't use this ancient opening device on any knives except my SAKs.

I would have a stock of ten of those if I lived in the polar regions like yourself. 10. I find them terrific gifts because recipients actually carry and use them. They are safe, convenient and reliable. I can find nothing not to like and for years I foolishly refused to even consider owning/carrying smaller knives. Live & ..., well, you already know.

I hear ya, Oregon. I'm a big fan of small, light, and dare I say, 'gentlemanly' folders. Sure, something like a Squire or Prince is a lot nicer, but the 424 has a lot of good going on, too! Very clean lines, no unnecessary nail-nick, super light, and the ol' the Buck Forever Warranty backing it up. I've never had a problem with Buck's 420HC... it's tough, takes a wicked edge and is easy to sharpen. It's also kind of refreshing to carry something without a pocket clip from time to time. But I reckon I don't have to sell you on the 424... for anyone else who happens to spot the 424 at a good price, you ought to grab a few. They'd be great additions to a PSK, FAK, camp-kit, lunch pail, or for plain ol' EDC...

I also scooped up a small Vantage Select and couple of Chinabucks in collector tins... the 379 and 373 (not too shabby at all--especially since I picked 'em up for 50% off!) I guess I've been on a bit of a Buck kick lately... :D

I'm struggling to find anyone who is willing to ship the 424 to Australia even on the auction site. If anyone finds themselves with a couple of spares that they don't know what to do with, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands.

This 424 knife is a great little knife. I just picked up 2 at my local canadian tire for $6 each!!

It's one of the best lite pocket knife made by Buck...

I always try to take my 422 everywhere I go with a 424... :)
