The 119 is and was a much better choice Over the 110 in that situation 👍 I believe the issued Knife is a far better choice though. Why, know glare from shining steel and the sheath diden't have a flap.

Nevertheless, the 110 sold like hotcakes in the PXs those days. Many GIs got their first exposure to the 110 in country and continued to use it after returning home.
