Buck Making a New Buckmaster?

Also the anchors to you of might been useless but to US Navy SEALs it was a tool. It was literally used as an anchor for a SDV to keep it in place while the SEALs are doing buisness on land. Also many folks no you I guess got very creative with them no worries to each his own

I know what the original anchors are for; but, how many of us in civilian life anchor ourselves offshore waiting for a execution time?

Why not just bring an anchor or a grappling hook? It just doesn’t make sense to me to use your knife as an anchor.

I was twelve when the Buckmaster was in stores. Even then I thought the anchor function was silly.

One is none.

Ok now that i been educated i will definitely keep an eye out for an original. As far as a new Rambo knife? I ordered one to be delivered in February from BHQ. I know it will be a Chinese or Taiwan knock off of sorts but as a kid and young man i loved Rambo movies and never had the money to get his movie knife.
As far as survival knives i think i could use almost any knife Buck makes as a survival knife. Almost. The bigger fixed blades might do a better job but most would do the job in the right hands. Jmho

I hope the new version is considerably lighter, a little smaller and a solid design.
