My wonderful wife took me out hunting in the field blind.She even took the pic for me So nice to be out. Kimber chambered in 257 Roberts. 692 came to me from pjsjr . Thank you!!

My West Virginia grandmother told me first time I went deer hunting up in her holler, "Mark, dem mens a'gonna go lookin for big ole antlers. Now you take care o' yur grandma and getten me a nice yung, tender button buck and I'll cook you up some'en right special."

I did and she did. She was exactly what you think a WV grandma looked like. Here she is with me about the age of that first hunt up on her place.

Deer numbers on my farm are considerably low so I pass all young deer. I did take a young doe earlier in the year on a different farm with plans to take a couple more for the freezer but with my accident that won’t happen.

Can’t help but to love a grandmother like yours!
