Buck of the Month anticipation.

I hope it's not a 112...But if it is Jigged Buffalo horn and Ebony is a winner in my book. I like Burl too..

Its real easy to hang out there. Buck does the greatest job making everyone feel at home.

I'm sure I couldn't imagine anything less. Just from the few interactions I've had with them on the phone and thru email I felt like I was talking to a friend.

Does Buck show last years BOTM somewhere?

I only see this years models.

I couldn't find them either when I was looking. I can't give you pics, and I might be leaving some details out... But here you go:

January 2018 - 110 Folding Hunter, drop point, nickel-silver bolsters, no nail nick.
February 2018 - 119 Special, black phenolic handle, 75 year anniversary inlay, signed/engraved blade.
March 2018 - 303 Cadet, elk scales. Really similar to the 2018 BF knife but with three blades.
April 2018 - 726 Mini Spitfire, purple anodized handle, black blade.
May 2018 - 120 General, blue wood handle, American Flag blade.
June 2018 - 830 Marksman, blue anodized handle, black Cerakote s30v blade.
July 2018 - 808 Talon FMC, blue G10 handle, black Cerakote blade.
August 2018 - 113, olive drab? Micarta, black blade.
September 2018 - 347 Vantage Pro, ironwood scales, pewter inlay, s35vn blade.
October 2018 - 535 Open Season Moose Skinner Pro, black/orange G10 handle, pewter inlay, black Cerakote s35vn blade (I wish I would have purchased one of these!).
November 2018 - 192 Vanguard, black DLC s35vn blade.
December 2018 - 112 Ranger, ebony scales, nickel-silver bolsters, s30v steel.

Good post fix all. That should be it’s own thread. Maybe even a stickie. People who have them can add pictures. Anybody have the complete set?

Thank you

I like the stickie idea and if someone could update the first post each month with new BOTM info that would be really cool.

Too bad they aren’t numbered. BOM 1, BOM 2, and so on. Without the detailed description no way of knowing when one pops up for sale that it is a BOM.

So... Buck is pretty awesome (I think we knew that already).

I ended up contacting them about my April Buck of the Month 55 that had a gouge and burn marks in the Micarta.

This guy.

Launi (wonderful customer service by the way) sent me a pre-paid shipping label and within one week of Buck receiving my knife... I had it back in my hands good as new (it pays to live a state away, lol)! It looks fantastic!

But that's not the best part.

Since I was already contacting Buck about my 55, I thought I would ask about some possible posters/wall art to decorate my man cave/office. The very next day I received a call from a gentleman at Buck saying he had found just the thing... And that he couldn't believe they weren't selling them in the Shop (and that they probably will be selling them in there soon). Yesterday I received what he said was the very first 40" x 30" vinyl banner that Buck has sold to the public. It's going to look GREAT on my wall! :D

On top of that... Buck also forwarded my email to the Buck Collector's Club (I should have thought of that) and Mr. Lindsey was able to find a couple of posters for me. :D

Wow fixall that’s awesome all the way around! Knife fixed, contacts and that wall poster is fantastic!

I have a few other tin signs,Marlin rifles and such and a Nocona boot poster with a 124 ready to cut the head off of a rattlesnake, it’s my prized wall art lol. I’ve been looking for a Buck tin sign or posters but haven’t found any. I hope Buck does put some on the store site and I’ll be all over that. Lol

Now that's cool. The knife turned out great. And that banner is going to look great.

I do wish I was closer to this..:D BUCKS on Sale!!! Mmmmmmm:cool:
John

Actually, my bank account is glad that I live so far away as to not be able to go to the sale....:(:(:(:(:(

Not to tempt you guys... But the Buck Factory Authorized online sale IS still going on at a lot of BF supporting vendors like GPKnives, Copper & Clad, and KnifeCenter. :D I picked up an ebony 110 for like $36 (normally $45), the new Buck Sprint in marbled carbon fiber for $120 (normally $150) and the new Buck 108 Froe in Micarta for $115! The old version of the Froe was like $75!

Sometimes I like MAP style pricing because it allows me to reward the stores that have given me the best customer service... Rather than just hunting for the cheapest deal.

I agree! I'd love to see a sticky or post with all of the Buck of the Months listed. It'd make for a great picture thread!

That's a good point... The boxes have the serial numbers that note they are a BotM, but there is nothing on the knife itself.

Gonna need a Tag once these are announced. I'd like to grab a buck of the month one of these days.

I'll try to remember to give you a shout out when I see that they've released. Sometimes you only have a day or so to get your order in.

Absolutely wonderful customer service all around! The knife turned out even better than expected.

I can't wait to get the banner on my wall... Or the posters for that matter. :) It'd be cool to see the banner in the store soon. I could see it going in a lot of shops/garages/etc. Tin signs would be even cooler to see, I'd love that!

I check the forums a lot, just doesnt hurt to have a back up lol.

What in the world???

The June Buck of the Month showed up briefly on the website today and then disappeared! I wish I would have grabbed a screenshot.

For those of you that missed it... The June Buck of the Month is going to be a Buck 110. It features screw together construction, red Micarta (linen?) scales, and black anodized aluminum bolsters. I can't quite remember, but I believe the blade was uncoated 420HC.

I think I'm going to pass on this month's offering. Good think too considering I just picked up the new Buck 841 Sprint in marbled carbon fiber, the new Buck 108 Froe in Micarta (I need to find something to whack!), and an ebony Buck 110 as a gift which all came in today. My wallet needs a break!
