What in the world???
The June Buck of the Month showed up briefly on the website today and then disappeared! I wish I would have grabbed a screenshot.
For those of you that missed it... The June Buck of the Month is going to be a Buck 110. It features screw together construction, red Micarta (linen?) scales, and black anodized aluminum bolsters. I can't quite remember, but I believe the blade was uncoated 420HC.
I think I'm going to pass on this month's offering. Good think too considering I just picked up the new Buck 841 Sprint in marbled carbon fiber, the new Buck 108 Froe in Micarta (I need to find something to whack!), and an ebony Buck 110 as a gift which all came in today. My wallet needs a break!
I'm really looking forward to the BCCI 112 version..If Buck fully gets behind the take apart 110 and 112 (maybe thru the Custom shop?) and offers a full range of blade styles in super steels and especially premium handles, it will create a whole new category of collecting...tiguy7 I really admire what you have done for the 110 you have. They not only look fantastic but it is good from a EDC perspective. A few years back a long time member here posted a pic of a 112 selector Leroy Custom in Ivory that was positively beautiful and ever since I seen it wanted something similar. Now that Buck has made a factory version collectors like me that don't have the skills to make one themselves can join the 'Barbie Buck' party lol!
ThanksWow that looks nice, Xr6x what stat do you live in? I’m in Oregon and still waiting on a knife I ordered the 5th.
