Gosh, a member for almost eight years and only three posts...glad to have you here and interested in Buck knives. Do you discuss Buck knives on other venues? I'm just curious.
To answer your question, IMHO, if you collect knives, then any type of knife will be collectable. Now, I'm more of an accumulator. I just like knives...Buck knives are special to me. Like you not every one, so I buy just the ones like.
There are some that become valuable. Depending on the numbers produced and the demand for them. You spoke specifically about the BOTM, some of the early issues were made in small numbers and are hard to find and pricey. Here's a good resource https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/buck-of-the-month-botm-list-starting-2018-thru-current.1783429/
This is the only knife forum I'm a member of. I collect guns, knives, and watches. I'm on several gun forums but rarely use them either and I'm on no watch forums. As for Buck knives I also have a couple of limited editions only available in 2021. Buck has really stepped up their game with the knives they are producing using higher quality blade steel and materials with designs outside of the Buck classics. I have become an even bigger fan as of late.
