Buck Two-Fer Tuesday

I do love those old Bucks with some personality from use...even if improper. You just never know the whys surrounding such use.
I hang around with a bunch of old guys in an organization "St Louis Antique Arms Collectors Association". It is an interesting group with a lot of knowledge but unfortunately the group is ageing out. One of the favorite sayings is...."if they could only talk"

About 25 years ago, we were in St Louis so my wife could have surgery at Barnes. We had to stay for several days after the surgery, so I wheeled her around in a wheel chair while we took in various sites. I can assure you the St Louis Zoo is not flat terrain. I can't remember the details, but one place we saw had a very large display of Hawken rifles. The problem is I can't remember exactly where that was.

We use to take the kids to the St.Louis zoo on a regular basis. Awesome zoo in my opinion. Lots of fond memories from there. I wouldn’t even attempt it with my current leg issues.

I now have the two range 791s to compare for this Tuesdays Two Fer Tuesday.
The elite with the aluminum handle and the pro. I like them both, both have pros and cons right now.
I will carry them off and on for the next few months and make my decision on EDC.IMG_0398.jpeg

They still make such great knives. It’s honestly shocking the classic 110 with ebony and brass bolsters is still only $65. That 301 stockman has incredible blade grinds and beautiful granadillo wood covers. Made in USA greatness.
