Buck Vanguard / zipper IONFUSION???

Hello Gentlemen!
I just acquired a pair of Buck knives.
one is a vanguard 692 and the other is a zipper 691
Both have the brass ends but a camo rubber handle.
One has a champagne?/Light gold? colored blade and the other has a purple? colored blade. They both have Buck (in scroll) Custom usa stamped on one side.
And Designers choice stamp on the other side?
C192-Z202 on box ends...
I have an email in to a few buck collectors and Joe Houser.
I was just curious if anyone else has any insight into these?
Who sold them when made???? They are neat looking knives Just curious about the history! Thanks in advance!

Pics, we need pics, this thread is dead without pics;) ..just kiddin Jim. The " Designers Choice" tang stamp is different. On the back page of the March 2005 BCCI newsletter, a 691SP2 is listed, 691 camo pro gold(ionfusion). That's all I could find quick.

Enclose it in the
code...

Or better yet, sign in, and put a check in the box and go down and select "Generate HTML and IMG Code"...

(and select the third choice) "IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards"...

 
Here Trax I removed the image so you can open the screen sooner!
What else is there besides Broadband :D???

Thumbnails, please. Some of us cain't afford broad-band... :(

In fact, I'm sorry I posted the full size pics...I tried to thumbnail them, but they keep coming up full size...(I can't get into your account)...:p

Jim - Was it you that couldn't see them before, too??? I know I posted some URLs for somebody who couldn't see pics...

Is it just Photobucket pics you can't see??? :confused:
 
Yes that was me!!!! I cant see any thumbnails at all. only the full size pics.

Since this is your thread, this isn't really hijacking... :D

What O/S are you using??? WinXP??? And MSIE??? If so, where do you have your security settings slider set at??? I dimly recall someone on another forum had a similar problem, and it was because his slider was set at High...Moving it to Medium cured it...IIRC... :rolleyes:

Medium setting on security...
Still no Thumbnails...

Somewhere in there is the fix for your problem...[size=-2](maybe)[/size] :D

Edit: I don't use IE, but somewhere in the Internet preferences (or options, whatever) is a setting for Show Images and Allow Animations...try enabling them...

BTW: You do have Java installed on your PC, don't you??? I use Sun's Java RTE, [Java(TM) 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 Update 6]...there was a problem with versions before update 6...and Microsoft's Java sucks...
