They're very pretty...Why not give them to your wife/girlfriend??? :D

Also I was never a huge fan of using the Ionfusion Knives!
My wife would have tough times sharpening them.
I could put them in my display case with her American Flag 119 though.:)
Ionfusions always seem to "ding" on the cutting edge. As seen in pics!
Her alpha folder will work for deer and ducks this year!
Thanks again Trax! I can sleep now!

I can find them a good home here on the left coast. The weather would be great for them.

As for the "ding"...I didn't notice any in your pic.
I'm gonna scout for a user Buckcote and see how it holds up just for grins.

Are you gonna buy it Jim?
If you don't, I might. But I'd be hard pressed to take the clam outta its' shell.
Thanks for the info.

Shes all your Goose!!! I wouldnt be able to take it out either... I'm just too weak! IF I were going to buy one to use though that would be the one!!
Maybe wait until a used one comes up on feebay? Not very often that they do but if you keep looking?
Keep us up to date Goose!! We look forward to your "field test"!!!

Hey Jim...
I'm tossed between using the $40 for that Protege or beer/gas/food.

Am watching the 119 Buckcote for grins but will not bid as I know it will end up out of my range...plus I see you are going for it.

Thanks for the tip on the 450!

Goose.

goose I think I "went" for it! I would like it also, But after I paid my ebay seller fees I dont think I will be bidding it any more :D
Beer does sound good right about now :)
Go ahead and buy that baby! Then you can let us know how you like them!!!
How do you feel about the mini bucks (425)? Too small for use? There quite a few of those around with Buck cote!
Jim

Hey Goose I went back to see who outbid me on that 119 buckcote...
Tattoo7.62X39 outbid me...
He's also on the Blade forums list of ebay I.D.'s
I think this one is up for grabs :D!!!!
I am still done bidding though!

Was just about to pull the switch on the 450...then I noticed it was partially serrated :(

I'll wait for another one to goof with.

Thanks...
Goose.

BTW, and I think the 435 would be too small for me to use. Like the 55, I like 'em but don't use 'em. Got one in a box and the wife has the other in her purse. Knice knife but I the smallest I find pratical, for me, is the 112FG.

I agree with both of your statements goose!!! I prefer no smaller than the 112 also! And serrations- I dont much care for them either! I really prefer no smaller than 110 but 112 will do :D
Good luck in the buckcote search!!! Maybe someone on BF has one used they would like to part with????

Thanks Jim...I doubt anyone here would let one go. I have a 110 golden Buckcote that is its coffin in the masoleum (closet). It's there to be found someday like the mummies of Egypt.
If I had a duplicate, I'd try it. But they seem few and far between.
So, I'll see if I can get a 450 as I collect 110 primarily and don't view the 450 in the same category.
Cheers...
Goose.

...Gooser...I agree with that comment on the 450 vs the 110. I gotta say though that the 450 is one heck of a nice "lightweight" user. It's quite a bit bigger in girth than the 442 and the 112 and feels great in my big mitts. The blade is very similar to that of the 442 drop point which means it's about the same size as the 112 clip point. If you could find a BuckCote in a plain edge 450 that would be perfect...I also dislike those serrated blades...
