Buckman#10 HELP!!

On 7/31/09 I sent Buckman#10 two international MO's for a FBM LE listed in the for sale section. He acknowledged receiving payment and said the knife would be out "in a couple days" I have not heard from him since 8/19/09. He has 22 positive trader ratings for the last 12 months so I thought I could send in confidence. Does anyone know this Ted fellow that has contact info for him other than the computer? My patience is growing very thin and short of opening a federal mail fraud case there is nothing to be done. I do not want to resort to that. HELP!!!
 
I've had multiple dealings with Buckman -- he is top notch. News like this makes me worry about him. :confused:

I hope every thing is alright and he comes online and squares up with you. :thumbup:
 
Done some business with him and no problems on his part. It did take quite a while to get my "parcel" thanks to customs and the Canadian Post Office. And I do mean a while.:grumpy:

Hopefully he is okay.
 
I've never heard anything bad about him before, but there is no excuse for the lack of communication. I do know that shipments form Canada take longer than I would have expected, so maybe it is in-transit?
 
I have had multiple dealings with Ted as well, with no problems. However, shipping time from him to me was appx. 3 weeks, but no fault of his.

Shipping to/from Canada can be an exercise in patience. I have had at least one trouble-free deal with Ted and have shipped to (and received from) Canada on numerous occasions. I have never had an issue yet beyond the waiting. If I were you, I'd give it another 7-10 days.
 
Thanks for all the responses everyone. You all taking up for Buckman eases my mind a bit. I will wait for him to return to the community. Hopefully it is soon.
 
UPDATE: Buckman returned last week and fully reimbursed me for knife, time and trouble on our miscommunication. He tells me technical difficulties have kept him off the forum recently.

His prompt refund once we reconnected gives me confidence in saying that he is an honorable and trustworthy gentleman. I have no reservations about doing future business with Ted.
