Budget Pig Sticker

The buck nighthawks are cool, but I'm not digging the handle. If I could find one of the special pig sticker nighthawks for an affordable price I'd be all over it. I think I read somewhere that very few were made? Has anyone seen those knives?
 
who cares in the end. fun is fun. how can you loose on a 10$ knife that can chop spmething/anything, never mind concrete.

if you are not sure, go cheap, is my point. :)

I own a Glock field knife, it's sturdy.

I did have to re profile it.

The swedge should sharpen up nicely.

Saw back is the model 81, NON saw back is model 78.

It's built to be a bayonet, the butt cap comes out if you want to put on a lanyard.
 
Ontario's "Spec Plus" line has a few in and around your price range, IIRC. Survival Bowie, Fighter, Marine Raider Bowie and several others that escape me at the moment. All 3/16"-1/4" thick and made of powder coated 1095 steel.

I think I would start with the SP 8" fighter, for a cheap FB I've always liked the SP's. The glock field knife is a tough SOB, I've tried to break mine for the past 3 years with no success.
 
You want to kill a pig,is easy,a cheap 8 inch blade dollar store knife will do,is just balls.Lure the pig....stand in a tree,drop down and lance the beast,right behind the head,sever the spinal cord...or you can shop for an expensive knife that will do the same thing,only you paid more for doing such a lame thing.

I take it that Your have not done this personally, correct?

I would also venture to day that you have not actually stick a pig before either, right?
I thought so.

For the others that haven't stuck a pig, don't listen to this person. You will break a leg then be torn up by an angry Hog, and probably fall oh the knife in the process...

My post is standing as a warning to others, this mall ninja is trying to get someone to kill themselves.

ETA: He disappeared a few days after posting this... I wonder if he tried it and got beat up by a pig?
