Bug Out Tool !

I like the blade straight instead of the belly in it. I just looks cleaner when it's straight.

Pretty cool (and original) design Pitdog. It's hard to come up with something that Peter Atwood hasn't already done. Good job.

I would think that 3" would be a better overall length, maybe with a simple kydex keychain/ neck sheath.
I'd use something like this as a companion to a knife, not in place of, so a smaller size would be better to tote around.

If it was offered without a sharp edge it could be carried in a pocket with less worry. I have an Atwood and use the bottle opener and screwdriver regularly. Great idea!

I have a feeling that this would be great on a keychain.

Would very thin micarta scales be possible? I think that would be sweet.

The biggest problem I see, is that it is more labor intensive than it looks to make. I don`t think it would be cost effective.

It diverges from the completely handmade theme of JK Handmade Knives, but you could have it blanked out via waterjet and then do the finish grinding, etc. by hand. This would probably require a group buy to make it cost effective though and I'm not sure if this is a path you want to take JK Handmade Knives down.

Let's forget this and stick to normal knives as I still have many designs for those buzzing around my head !!!!!

I keep coming back to this tool. I believe I`m going to have to make one, with a few modifications. :D
