Building an EDC Collection

A very nice collection for sure. I'm my opinion which is worth what you are paying for it a edc collection is built over time as your taste and needs change.

Picked up a fixed blade to round out the collection.. Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter and an Exotac fireROD.

Those traditional Bark River knives are gorgeous, I'll be sure to look at them if I ever expand on another fixed blade. Thanks again boys!

As others have said, you obviously did some research. I wish I could have all the money back that I spent on junk knives for the first year until I actually figured out what a good knife was and started buying quality.

I will say that if you are just getting started on edc gear look into the flashlight community. You can throw a good chunk of your money at edc lights to go with your edc knives as well. Between pointy objects and illumination devices I'm pretty much broke.

Funny you say that, I started with a few flashlights before getting into pocket knives! I'm no flashaholic, but they all serve a purpose. A few that I have are:

- Surefire P2X Fury
- Olight M22 Warrior
- Petzl TIKKA+ Headlamp (one in each of our cars, one at home for power outages)
- Petzl TIKKA Pro Headlamp (my wife's for reading)
- Maglite Solitaire (attached to my Leatherman)

I'm sure I've got a few more torches and emergency gear lying around beyond this as well. I do appreciate a good flashlight! A buddy is trying to convince me to pick up a ThruNite TN12 next.

Really great stable of sharps you got there, I bet it's tough deciding which one gets to ride in the pocket everyday!
