Bullet Shields Only - All Manufacturers Welcome

What year was this manufactured Charlie? What a specimen!
Late 1920s to 1933, AFAIK!! Remington experts might correct me!!
I remember when you got that Charlie. Mike had two of them but only this one with a nice legible blade script. Mike had sent them to Levine for authentication.

Edited to say: I don't think Mike actually sent the knives to Levine. I think they did the authentication with pictures, e-mails etc..
I had always wanted an early Bullet, and his price was right, Ed!! I suspect mike did it with pictures, but I brought it to the Oregon Show, and Bernie Levine authenticated it in person there!! So did Jim Pitblado, who is a Remington expert!! It has since moved on to a new home, after being displayed in Mike Robuck Mike Robuck 's Book!!

Post it up! Does it have a sweet patina?
I’ve only been carrying it (with a pocket clip slip) for about 2 months so nothing drastic yet. The shield is showing a bit though :)

I am a big fan of bullet shields and I am a bit ashamed at my very modest assortment - I need to get busy....

I am looking forward to adding the upcoming Remington to the lineup - the recent 23s are some of the finest knives that GEC has produced in the last year or two, I am hoping to experience some of that same craftmanship in the Remington. It will definitely be more friendly on the pocket.

Nice thread idea. Surprised it hasnt been done before. Im preoccupied as of late. Hopefully i can get some pictures to share in the coming weeks. Life is exciting and hectic for the past month and will be for the coming month

Not to derail the thread, but I would love to hear your thoughts on the new AG swayback.

I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately my example had some issues that were just too hard to overlook. :(
