Bullet Shields Only - All Manufacturers Welcome

Who made the top two that dwarf the GEC 23? Those are beasts!
The top Winchester is probably made by Queen, most of the Winchesters were made by Queen but I am not sure about the big clasp knives.
The long lock back is a Camillus made Remington R1253 reproduction from 1992.

Recently got in one of the GEC #23s from the run last year. I was really blown away by how big it was when I got it in hand. You can read measurements and look at pictures but it's never the same as actually having the physical object. The pull on the main blade was ridiculously strong as well, but after some lube and working it back and forth a couple hundred times it's starting to loosen up. It's still pretty stiff but it's manageable now.

Is that pattern number right? The R1178 should have wood handle slabs. The 8 indicates cocobolo, 3 indicates bone according to the Remington numbering system.

It is correct. When they started putting out special issue Silver Bullet Collector Edition knives, some letters may have been incorrectly used; however, the number 3 indicated bone jigged to appear as stag and the number 6 indicated genuine stag. You are correct in that the number 8 indicates Cocobolo. Here is a picture of the packaging and the knife. Note the Serial # on the box top and on the bolster - 4123

One thing I've learned since buying, selling, collecting knives is that nothing is absolutely written in stone. For whatever reason some manufactures even change/alter markings even in the middle of runs.

I like the book "Remington Knives, Past & Present" as a reference for Remington knives.
