Bulletproof!

I'll say this much, those sawteeth are downright radical. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

Farid makes some extrememly tough, over built knives. I'd ditch the saw teeth myself, but the design looks cool. The ones with the more traditional blade shape look good.

I don't think those knives are even a little bit practical and for the money I'd just get three Entreks if 440C is the metal du jour.

Good grief those are expensive! You can get a Busse on e-pay for less!

$1250.00 for 440-c and a gooofy design. Just my opinion of course. Mecenario do you have one of these knives?

It's the attachment point that makes me nervous.. Anytime you try to "add" material to a knife, especially at a pivot point like where the blade and handle meet, you are asking for trouble. This is why Chris Reeves makes his knives ONE PIECE!!

Good luck with these.. I would rather save my money and buy a couple of Busse's or Ontario RAT's, AND a nice single malt Scotch!!

I don't get the sawteeth. Or the price.

Do the sawteeth have some purpose that I'm not aware of? I understand that they used to issue knives with sawteeth on the back to WW2 pilots because they could cut through the thin skin of their airplane in an emergency, but very few people would have any need for that feature these days.

I'm not a fan of totally round handles either, I prefer them to have some shape so that you can feel which direction the blade is turned. Also it's just more comfortable.

Not my style. If I want a "bullet proof" hollow handled "survival" knife, I'll buy a Chris Reeve knife. I have been in Reeve's shop and watched how those are made. Also know people who use them, and use them hard. They stand up.

Just my opinion.

I'll take Busse's INFI blades or even A2 for that matter over 440c any day of the week.
