BULLSEYE! The Travelling Trunk Show Hits The Spot... Easton Will Never Be The Same!!!

I will only admit to the Green Linen Ruck ... but I did have a black-ish G10 Ruck and a Gray G10 Ruck in hand, as well.

Not even I could justify taking all 3.

Well ... plus my spouse was right there.:o

I know who got the others, but it's best to let them decide whether to 'pipe up' or not. It's all good.

ugh one of everything i need

I was already thoroughly depressed that I had to change plans and couldn't attend at the last minute - seeing this thread has NOT helped:(

On the other hand...some awesome hauls made in PA!!

and the rest in in the exchange, go figure.

Continued comments like these do nothing to further the sense of community we enjoy here. Many of us partake of at least a little free market capitalism on the Exchange. Everyone is free to buy or not buy from any seller as they choose. So there is no need to belittle anybody who sells knives, especially not when you have had 69 sale threads in 15 months.

Let's keep it fun here.

While I appreciate the sentiment, Resinguy, and certainly see your point, there are certain folks who err heavily on the "dealer" side, rather than the "hobbyist" side. If they want to pay for a dealer membership on Bladeforums, and keep detailed track of their sales and pay taxes on their profits, then more power to them, but I somehow doubt that's happening ;)

I don't mind if folks sell a few knives after a show, or hang onto a bunch of stuff to keep as investment, but IMHO buying out every "valuable" knife you can get your hands on, solely to flip it for a quick profit, is excessively greedy.

Edit: Spark's post, titled "you might be a dealer if..."

Just sayin'

And I understand what you are saying, but IMO would leave the issue to the Moods or Spark, and forgo the snide comments. YMMV.

I would love to be a Busse dealer, someone show me how...
The show was free but not everyone was able to make it, so if they are able to get it on the exchange for a bit more, at least they are happy, better then not having it at all. I help people get what they are looking for, it makes them happy, and I am too, so what's the problem?

I haven't been able to attend any show yet. :(

But i have been able to score leftovers.

I think it was called a GANZA

How about it Busse!
When's the next Ganza so I can score some sweet INFI. :foot:

Stay friendly guys. . . .

Here's a big HOG hug from Wauseon . . . . . (That's from Amy :D)

Let's Drink!!!!!

Jerry :D

Took longer than I thought it would, honestly

Me too. I bet on Sat. night.:foot:

Nice... :grumpy:
...Being as this seems to be the 2nd time snide comments about large purchases and accusations of flipping have been posted in very close proximity to my name and/or on my thread since I posted it (yes, I saw the comments on the Yard's forum too), I can't help but feel that maybe in addition to a few others, these are being aimed at me as well...

I posted this thread for the fun in sharing what was at the show and what I was lucky enough to get, just like so many others here who do the same for us to admire and talk about in a positive light.
So, if you have something negative to say, then grow a pair and drop me a PM/email and we can discuss this like mature adults... ...but keep your negative crap off my thread, please.
Thank you.

MEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW......... Imagine how hard done I feel, not like theres ever much chance of a Busse show going to be in Ireland!!!!! I am at the mercy of the exchange forums :grumpy::(:( But in my eyes, half a loaf is better than no bread :p

My comments were certainly not directed at you Jaxx.

Are you sure? Maybe it's me, especially with the s*** week I've been having, but they certainly felt like they were, and if not, then why the need to derail my thread with the comments? If you want to rehash the topic of flipping & large purchases, feel free to start your own, mmkay, because I don't appreciate the negative comments on what was supposed to be a positive and thankful thread. This isn't just directed your way; it includes the others who left negative comments too.
