:rolleyes:Ah, my friend, I see that Sydney has passed.:(

My little clan sends you their regrets and hopes that you will remember all the good times.

Here's hoping your week improves, and quickly.

For those who don't know ... you won't find a finer gentleman or a kinder Hog than Jaxx. Not on BladeForums. Not anywhere.

We are a family but remember, hogs eat their own :)
It's all good. I don't have a problem here with anyone although I would like to get one of my ornigal knives back but I respect whomever that has it not to give it up. I know I wouldn't:) I see people here that has knives I want, and time will come, and hopefully I will have some... Or I'll have to have Jerry and the crew make some:)

Thank you all for your very kind sentiments. It's never easy to lose such a great friend as Syd was to me during the time she shared with us, but "time heals all wounds"... At least to some degree. For everyone who reads this, please take some time to give your loved ones a little extra well deserved attention tonight... You won't regret it!

For those who didn't know Syd from pix here, She was an awesome cat who also had a thing for Busse knives, especially Mulder's passaround SHBA....

Rest In Peace, Syd... You earned it & then some.

I know what you mean about loved ones JAXX. I had to take my wife into the ER on Sunday, and she had surgery on Monday. This is her 2nd surgery in the past 2 months (my trip to Easton and the stuff I got was my gift from her), and she likely has 2 more surgeries over the next few months to get back to normal. Being able to get on the forum and talk to and joke around with some of the people I met in Easton and on the forum here is was has kept me going the last few days.

JAXX, that was the 2nd time I met you, and OP is right, you are a gentleman...

Smoke rising, Dwaine, and I hope very much that her recovery will be swift and complete. I'm close to you so if there's anything I can do for you both, please let me know, OK? Take care, man.

Dwaine and Jaxx,
Sorry for your loss Jaxx. When I got my first puppy, my grandfather, knowing what a tender hearted little bugger I was, took me aside and told me this: you've got to understand now, upfront, that you're going to live a lot longer than that dog is. He meant well, and it helped some. I've said goodbye to lots of dogs and horses, even a cat, and it's never easy. It's the price we pay for opening our lives and hearts -- and it's a good trade over all.

Also, I had a great time meeting you in Easton. You are indeed a great gentleman (which is what I say to everyone who is bigger than I am). Take it as a compliment when I say that you're a great HOG, but not a pig!

Dwaine, sorry for your wife's problems. I'm nearby too, so let me know of you need anything.

Your friend,
Woody
