Honestly, if I'd had any luck unloading my Moses BK5 then I might consider this, but I guess I'm in the enviable position of having to be satisfied with the Moses.

I'll probably regret this decision. AGAIN.
 
I was thinking about stripping my 20. I do love seeing the coating come off from use though.

It's all good :) I'm trying to leave the paint on my 21 :p all it took for me was a few scratches on other blades of mine and the paint had to come off . Love the look of raw steel and it cleans off much easier. Can't stand sap left on any of my knifes.
 
had 100 in my shopping cart not sure how many total but guess 200+, so not such a limited amount as stated, then the guys that bought the first 450 and told never to be done again. HMMMM, could be blanks from the Moses as the Moses did not move so well. Maybe Official Ka-Bar could give us all the skinny on whats going on

I am working out of the office right now, but as I understand it they found a very small quantity in the warehouse - less than 25. There hasn't been any additional run in the factory and won't be. How did they show up? No idea. Could have been a customer cancelled an order and we forgot about them or we just misplaced these. It happens, just usually not with a limited production item. We did not concoct a scheme on these - they are the same price and we put them up for sale while still selling BK29's.
 
Victory!!!! Tanker 1/66 Bk20 on its way. I wish KABAR would send me a Bk4 or 2 Bk5s instead of the Charmer. But hey I will take the charmer they didnt have to offer any package at all. So no whine n cheese here.
 
I never meant this as something bad that Ka-bar did. Just was a friendly FYI for people that want one. I bought my BK 20 when first offered and it doesn't bother me at all.

I would like to suggest that if KA-BAR is ever in a position to produce more Bundoks, that we support that and appreciate it. I sure will. I understand that collectors were looking for value, but I feel it's a better thing that a great tool gets a chance to get into more hands. Correct me if I'm wrong but KA-BAR's intent in designing, manufacturing, and selling these was not exclusively to build a strong aftermarket for collectors to make big profits by selling these at super high prices.
