Buried Treasure?

Wasn't it Mahatma Lincoln (or was it Abe Gandhi?) who said, "April pranks reduce intelligence, like fools or outright liars."

Some of you may have seen my posts in this thread and thought, "That poor old coot is really starting to show a decline in cognitive functions." In reality, I was just trying (and apparently failing 🤓) to pull off my own April Fool prank. If you look carefully, I think you can see some similarities in the alleged quotes I posted.

I'll even use boldface font to highlight the similarities in the 3 preceding quotations.
Here's one more before I go to bed:
"Acrostics provide recreation if looked for on odd-sounding lines!"

Well done, Gary!

Thanks for the invite, Duncan. :) How difficult is it to buy or rent a metal detector in NZ? It might be worth our while.

Apparently that tackle box had a much higher quality paint on it, the old pal my dad gave me has much more rust than that and it has spent it's entire life in a garage.
If I had done this it might actually look like it had been burried.

I know these guys, you should be getting a knock on your door soon r8shell r8shell . They can‘t wait to get started.

Just know the real treasure may be the sweet sweet tv royalties.

Yep , those jokers have figured out how to make a nice pile of cash while digging up old bits of wood and assorted trash. Not too shabby!
