I also like it because you can pluck the clip blade out without the nail nick. :cool:
 
Beautiful knife...I am still amazed by the fantastic quality offered by GEC for the price. My two knives are holding up excellently to daily use......

It's funny my serial number is 07, yours looks to be 08. The coloring on mine looks very similar to yours. I tried to tell everyone how great they were but I don't have the means to take such nice pictures like you do.

This is my only knife that I just can't bring myself to use. I think its that "1 of 50" etch on the blade thats stopping me, plus the fact that Collectorskinves.net listed it as sold out right after I bought mine. Will you be using yours much? Or reserving it for light duty?

Mine looks like #8 in the picture, but it's actually #3. I've been using it quite a bit so far, but nothing extremely rough. The Patina will eventually cover the blade etch on my knife. I purchased it to be a well taken care of user that will have some scratches and blade discoloration. All of my knives are users.
