Burnt with Patina

That's a great lookin' 76 Keith, and well deserving of the "bobbed" pen treatment.

+1 to that -- beautiful 76!

And Mamba, as for the "bobbed" pen treatment on a 76, I bit the bullet last year. Inspired by Sturzi I nipped the tip on mine and ground the blade thinner for whittling. Sturzi's turned out really nice (here's his http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ANTED-DEAD-OR-ALIVE-GEC-Outlaw-Jack-76/page11)

And here's mine.

I looked over the edge of the abyss for a long time before taking the plunge, but I'm really happy to have the outlaw's long, graceful clip AND and fine coping blade for carving :)

Very nice, Mik, and you're right, I believe sturzi was the first one to show this mod.

Forgot that I own this one, sitting on a shelf in the bookcase - an old BELKNAP HDWE & MFG CO jackknife. OH

Since these knives are so gorgeous, I thought I'd kick-start the thread again. Here's my 76 Outlaw which is aging quite nicely.
