Robert, I'm glad you like the knife. Let me know how it does when you get a chance to get it out in the woods.
James T., I see what you mean about that pin. I had originally intended to just make the top of the handle go straight accross to the spine. When I started putting it together I decided to keep the thumb grooves on the spine unobstructed. I'll keep the pin placement in mind for the next one. And yes, I also did the leatherwork. That is not my favorite thing to do but a knife isn't much good if you can't carry it.
