The reason I was late to the party yesterday, UPS showed up with a CPK K18 and boot dagger for me yesterday. I had a hard time thinking about anything else after that. I was running around with a scarf on head imagining myself as a Japanese anime character wielding a massive sword and fighting supernatural hellspawned demons.

Nevertheless, I'm still going for the waki to accompany the katana. I'm sure the more you think about it, the more sense it will make to you! 😂

I think Hunter needs to take a page from Nathan's book, "You don't want this waki. Better to buy a nice sensible pocket or field knife."

Wise choice. You never know where you will be when the hellspawned demons come. I officially recommend keeping the Waki in the car, the K18 in the living room, and sleeping with the Katana. (Consult your wife before taking this advice). 🤣
 
It would be wiser to bring blades home the same way we did in childhood—when we brought all sorts of little animals to our parents and asked to keep them, because they were so cute and needed a home.
 
Yeah, I'm compensating for the lack of huge sharp blades.
In everything else, I'm magnificent 😎
 
It seems that asking an adult man on the internet for proof that he is not compensating for something is, to put it mildly, a rather... interesting inclination 🤔

Glad to see I didn't miss this yet.
I'm in for a launch special bush waki with OD green terotuf, and a katana though I wanted to ask if it's possible to have the themed guard but default pommel, and would love to be able to see some pictures of the grip materials as well as the sheath before making final judgment on the options.
