Hope this one sticks.

I'm getting ready to vote our own idiot leader out of office tomorrow. (hopefully)

The worst thing any President can do, is to apologize for winning. Landslide or squeaker, he is The Man. Let's see what he's got for a program, and which Congressmen he can get to work with him. (Congressmen need to show results, too.)

Damn Esav.....we didn't know that you were running for Pres..... Sounds like I needed to vote for you instead!

Now for the truly horrific news.

It appears that the first steps in a blackmail campaign against GOP electors is in progress, to try and get at least three to "turn". More here:
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2000/11/23/103708.shtml

Gentlemen, if this is proven, it could trigger a civil war. Not the initial dirt-digging, that might be just a loon underling...but an actual blackmail attempt?

That's not tolerable.

Jim

Yeah, I really hope that this is "the beginning of the end" for this goat-rope. I may be setting myself up for more disappointment, but for the first time in a long while I'm allowing myself to think that the good guys might actually win this one. I realize that it ain't over by a long shot, but I can't help but think that today's events might finally begin to sway public opinion to the GOP's cause. Victory may finally be in sight (I sure hope so...the stress is killin' me

). Long overdue contratulations to Dubya!

Cautiously optimistic,

Jim

Yup, the votes were certified, Gore battles on in the courts...Latest word, as of 9:00PM, 11/26/00, is that Pres. Clinton has ordered the Govt. Services Office NOT to give Bush any transitional funds...What would happen if the Lame Duck President refuses to step down, because he doesn't agree with the election outcome? It's getting very close...

As long as we're showing campaign signs, here was my favorite:

We have all known this for weeks.

Gore and his band of Liberals just need to realize they lost. Enough is enough, give it up already.

Gore is going to appeal the crap out of it. The thought that he might win is scary, but in this case McCain would have a shot in 4 years.

I'm guardedly stoked. The Senate is dead even, Dem. vs Rep. That means if there is a tie, Chaney can break it. Besides, if gdubya selects a democrat for a cabinet post from a state with a republican governor, the gov can replace the Senator with a republican Senator. It's been done before. I haven't seen the last count, but Reps. will have about about a 10 or so represenative advantage in the House. Here is the test. How good a leader is gdubya? If he can communicate with and lead the American people, there is a bunch of tough guys in the House, like Armey (sp), Bill Archer, plus Largent, J.C. Watts, J.D. Hayworth and host of others who are just itching to go for stuff like a flat tax, and beefing up the military, among other things. Furthermore, gdubya is going to get a chance to appoint some Supreme Court justices; the kind of guys that won't legislate from the bench. That could reduce the Feds screwing around with our guns. Reagan did a lot with a democratically controlled Congress, so lets see how well George can play with even a better hand. Jack

Do not forget that we have only ended up with the lessor of two evils.... Bush may support many of the rights we all hold dear, but no one will ever say that he is smart, or quick on his feet. It is a sad state of affairs to see him representing the GOP.

Next time he's not reading a speach, try to count how many times he says: "and... uh"....

America lost when we were given two bad choices.

C4, McCain just turned traitor on gun rights. Between Bush and McCain, we definately got the more pro-freedom of the pair.

Bush is the most pro-freedom serious prez contender we've seen in years, possibly even generations. He took a leadership role in driving back gun control in TX. And having done that and STILL won, even if it's by the skin of his teeth, he's delivered the MMM/HCI faction their biggest defeat since Reagan was in office.

I dunno what all the doom'n'gloom is about. A pro-gun-rights candidate just won the presidency despite the media's propaganda.

That's a bloody miracle.

Jim

Gore isn't EVER going to concede. He'll keep fighting 'til the coronation. In his mind he's been president all his life. The sad truth is he doesn't just lie to everyone around him,he lies to himself as well. He's sick, and part of his delusion is that anyone who disagrees with him is a conspirator. i won't be surprised if he "goes away" for a while when it finally sinks in he LOST!

by the way, how many out there are aching for Steve Largent's 2008 race?

After a looong hard struggle folks, I think we see the light at the end of the Clinton Tunnel. And Thank God it's not an oncoming freight train named Gore. The winner is Bush!! Gore needs to concede, as he's even starting to offend his fellow Democrats with his whining.

I hope Bush can hold on to it. He rightfully won, but Algore wont quit. Here is a Dr. Suess poem about the election:

<< Can we count them with our nose?

Actually say "uh" and pausing during conversation is "NOT" a sign of non intelligence. It is a sign that a person lacks communication skills for some reaon or another. Ever see Einstien talk? Stephan Hawking before he disease? These are the two most intelligent men of our time.

Bumper sticker starting to appear in FL:

"Don't blame me, I think I voted for Gore".

Gore is going to appeal the hell out of this, because his political future is now dead. When he loses this, he's OUTTA HERE.
