doubt you "swap" to "extreme autism", but I'm very sure you take autism too lightly, and possibly don't know what autism is.
Don't be a jerk.
Lets just nip this in the bud.
No
Not even close.....The real “Bushcraft community”. Change my mind.
Who says you have to use a scandi knife to be a bushcrafter? Is that in the “Bushcraft community bylaws” or something? What’s the secret handshake? Not even close.....
I knew a guy some years ago who was a world champion Stihl Timber Sports competitor. There is a big difference between those guys in the video and "real bushcrafters". Some of those guys have never even been in the woods, some are real loggers. However, being a logger doesn't make you proficient at any sort of survival skills, it makes you proficient at cutting trees for a living. Most of them go home at night....
By the way, nobody in that video qualifies as having "real bushcraft skills"....They are using saws and axes, and not a scandi grind knife in sight....
I don’t even like scandis for wood. My Bushcraft knife has a saber grind.Scandi knives suck at cutting anything other than wood. Ever try to cut an apple with a scandi?
Scandi grind does excel at whittling. Nothing takes bigger chunks out of wood like a scandi grind does. But other than that, I prefer to use a different grind for anything else.I don’t even like scandis for wood. My Bushcraft knife has a saber grind.
You do really need to try following along a bit better.......Everybody knows a real bushcraft knife has to have a scandi grind.....Who says you have to use a scandi knife to be a bushcrafter? Is that in the “Bushcraft community bylaws” or something? What’s the secret handshake?
Sounds like Scandinavian cultural appropriation to me.You do really need to try following along a bit better.......Everybody knows a real bushcraft knife has to have a scandi grind.....![]()
Not sure if I’d call a scandi with a secondary a scandi. True scandis are zero grind. A scandi with a secondary becomes a saber. So what actually is the difference between a scandi grind with a secondary bevel and a low sabre grind?

The saber seems to be the better “all around” option. Scandis excel at whittling wood. The saber is the well rounded choice for me.Exactly my point, try finding a scandi without a secondary bevel.
The thing I don’t get about EDC is these channels where they show off their gear. $500 exclusive knife that no one else can find, $200 flashlight, $300 backpack, and other random junk. I’m all for carrying stuff you might need but a $50 pocket knife can do just as well as a $500 one.EDC is nearly as bad.
And I hate it more when EDC is used as a verb.
It’s almost like some of those gear review channels are monetized in some way, amirite? The thing I don’t get about EDC is these channels where they show off their gear. $500 exclusive knife that no one else can find, $200 flashlight, $300 backpack, and other random junk. I carry a knife every day, usually more than one. However it's rare to be the same knife every day.The thing I don’t get about EDC is these channels where they show off their gear. $500 exclusive knife that no one else can find, $200 flashlight, $300 backpack, and other random junk. As long as you learn to respect folks who have it rough, I don’t care what you call me.OK Karen.
Don't get your hopes up.As long as you learn to respect folks who have it rough, I don’t care what you call me.
