I keep hearing about the Scandi "shiver" being used for wood working when most of the wood workers I know use the convex exclusivley.

Perhaps the wood workers you know are mostly American?

I hear scandi grinds aren't very common in America. If they were, perhaps the grind would be called American grind or something.
