...In spite of the negative comment from the one photo critic who seems to feel the need to nitpick. :thumbdn:

Totally agree, love the pix and the knife aint bad either!!:D

I am really suprised that the LE's arent wearing Bama Clay but I have to say I am glad they are satin and BP.:D:p

Sorry MM, had to do it!!:D

Out-FRIGGIN-standing!!!

So, comparing this new satin pre-production model...

to the teaser pic of the proto from two months ago:

it looks like the blade is maybe a little broader?

Blade and handle look different to me. Personally, my preference is lays with the slimmer blade and less bulbous handle of the prototype - anybody else?

Horizontal(ish) lines in the G-10 creat a slimming effect, and the angle of the camera lens on the LE model is creating a slightly thickening effect compared to the proto. I'm willing to bet that they are the same as each other, or darn close to it. in length height, handle shape, etc. The only minor difference that I can see seems to be the shaping of the top of the handle at the ricasso.

Good looking "Awesome" knifes , must have Two:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: . How about DC option, will be offered too Boss ? Thanks

And LE look thicker, 0.22-0.25 will be great:thumbup:, How about SPECS. Boss !!! ? Please

From the pics the CGs appear to be convex main grind and the handles appear to be standard thickness. IIRC, Jerry said that the idea was to remake the SHBM with a 3/16" thick blade. If he has, that puts the blade length at 10" with OAL at 15 1/2". The real show stopper would be 1999 prices: CG - $347. (Lengths, date and price courtesy of The Busse Collector) I suspect that they will go for more but I'm in for at least one CG anyway. BRING IT, JERRY and all of you other Wonders in Wauseon.

I agree that somebody over there takes great looking pics. It's just that when I want to know what a knife really looks like, a flat view with no distortion is preferable to glamour shots. YMMV.

Man, those look awesome.

Boss, please tell me you are having double cut as an option again :-)

These are really nice, but I do prefer the handle on the original prototype.

sounds like this will come with the standard handles, will it come with the Mags too? BLUF I have to have Mags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
