Business Attire Knife

I just went to a wedding in Chicago and had to wear both my Suit and my Sport coat and dress slacks (Rehersal Dinner) and I carried my Spyderco Carbon Fiber Cricket both times and was very comfortable with that....

I carry a Caly 3 in the change pocket of my dress slacks and a Victorinox Executive in the left front pocket. The Executive gets far more use in an office enviroment. The Caly 3 only gets used in the presence of other knife people.

The Caly 3 in Carbon Fiber is more classy looking, and a smoother finish. Definitely dressier for a suit.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. As suggested by my mention of the BM Black class quality level, most are out of my price range. However, the Spyderco Kiwi is perfect. I found one with mother of pearl and abalone inserts for about $100 (a discontinued special on Spyderco). A beautifully, classy knife with a blade length that shouldn't ruffle any feathers. Thanks for the help.

The Al Mar Hawk Talon Ultralight. Wear it with a suit every day. Thinnest and lightest knife I've ever carried. Great steel, less, than $100, and very well made.

I have a William Henry Carbon Fiber Lancet that works well for dress occasions.

Check out the Nemesis Knives' Imp, by Jeff Hall.

They offer a silver G10 handled version + a variety of wood handled knives as well.

Great quality gentleman's knife, with a 2 1/8" VG10 blade.

Here are some pic's, alongside a few other options, the Spyderco SS Cricket and Benchmade Benchmite Auto

Nice Kingwood Imp there fishwatcher....
thanx for the comparison pix w/the Cricket....wow those Imps make the Cricket look huge :p

I guess I'll vote for Spyderco Kiwis, and Kopas for dress-carry... some day a Mnandi

Nice choice. You won't regret it. If you are thinking of adding a lanyard, I'd suggest a basic "Chris Reeve" style (actually hang man's knot). Paracord is too thick for the hole and the overall mass of the knife. I experimented with various cordage and found that men's round coated nylon dress shoe laces are perfect. Experiment with a few types, they are cheap enough. Here is a link to tying instructions: http://www.chrisreeve.com/knotright.htm
