If we had a big-ass bonfire, and a roasted pig, and lot's of booze and knives I could be persuaded to drive down with my wife!;)

It would have to be at a camp ground, so that we could all get dirty and stay the night.

Maybe we could find a place that we could shoot off some rounds as well..??
 
I think this is an excellent idea, I will try to make it wherever the location is decided upon,,I'll be sure to arrive early with plenty of beer and an empty stomach,,,,beer, bon fire, and barbecue . it just dont get any better than that. :eek: :eek: :D
 
the next shoot at Knob Creek will be April 8,9 and 10th 2005. I think that will be a great location. :cool:
 
You could always have it in Alaska. The only knife laws are no automatics or butterfly knives. You can carry any size knife, fixed or folder, you want. Get a hunting party together and have a moose roast :D

Hold it sometime in summer and you will have sunlight till 11-12 at night. That and you'll save me on travel fare ;)

Well known Trough Scooper and Hog among Hogs, Paradiggum, has been working feverishly on this very idea for quite a few months now. . . . He's already captured the Hog for the roast, bought 3 tanker trucks full of CBL, and JWB. . . . each. . . . .and booked one of the hottest bands to come out of the midwest since Waylon, Willie, and Aerosmith got their start here nearly 140 years ago, right after the Civil War! ! ! ! ! :eek: :eek: :cool:

We are considering Knob Creek, Ky as a location since we'll need a place for Skunk to bring his Black Hawk Helicopter where he can "cut the guns loose" as he so succinctly puts it during elk season!!!!! :eek: :cool:

HOLD ON ONE SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't let this happen!!!!! If Jerry goes down to Knob Creek the 8th, 9th, and 10th with all of you guys, he'll still be drunk on the 16th! And that's my wedding day!!!! I'm sorry Jerry but you are grounded to Ohio for first 3 weeks of April. I know this isn't fair....... but too bad!! :D

So this get together...

We are talking about a four or five star full service hotel right? Why roast a pig outside when you can have room service bring up pork chops?

I believe that fine establishments like that tend to frown upon drunks playing with knives. Besides there is nowhere in a hotel that we can play exciting games to win knives.

As stated before I am indeed working on this. I have to still confirm a couple of things.
Although we are still trying to confirm things with Knob Creek it will not be the same time as the machine gun shoot they have twice a year. So far most of the people I've talked to have suggested it be slated for July or August. This seems to be a good time. It doesn't conflict with the Blade shows or the SHOT show. At first we considered having it immediately after Blade but that seems to be too much. After the insanity of a Blade weekend the last thing on my mind at least is a camping trip. We can't do it during a show because there would be no time for our own insanity and shooting. Anyway it's and excause for another weekend bender. Like we need one. ;)
Still working out the details.
