>>>Busse Basics special run for BFC Members! <<<

We will be taking the handle off a #7 and Jerry assures me that the entire line is made the same way. So look for our review and tests to come out very soon.

Also don't forget to check out the #9 in the BFC Store! www.bladeforums.com/store/knives/busse.html

cool mike,
That would be very helpful. I am having second thoughts though. I think i remember you saying that the handle are pretty darn comfy the way they are so i figure no sense in screwing it up. ALso, I would like to give the basic 7 a home after the testing is done.is that possible or did someone already claim it?
Thanks
luke

Man, here I am just trying to get a handle on these cool knives and here you are taking the handles off!

Batten down the hatches!

Mike, I'm left handed and I heard the edge needs to be reversed for lefties. Is the kydex sheath ambidertrous? Are there any Blade Forum Logo on the knife.

On the question of MSRP versus BladeForums price, I believe the price at www.busseknives.com is the discounted price for the non-coated blade knife, not the MSRP. I don't see the basics listed at Busse's site, which is www.bussecombat.com. The other site actually belongs to ABC-Direct.

Mike, I see Little River Knives (http://www.littleriver.datasys.net/busse.html) Has the #9 for $199 and advertises the blade as 91/2 inches?

Mike. I'm sorry that's Little River. Also they offer free shipping. I think I'm going to buy a #7 ($169 black blade shipped)from them.

No problem. I already mentioned that if we have some extras I will move to dealers at regular wholesale starting Friday.

The knife feels good in either hand and since I am not left handed I can not speak for the left handed cutting ability but I think it should still kick ass.

While speaking of its handles, are their sizes proportionate to the 4 different blade lengths? Or are they all the same measurements? Important consideration. Also are there any specs to indicate the actual hand contact area or OAL length of the handles? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I beleive the sizes on each handle are the same. I will check into it to make sure.
